The original cow was created by the Advanced Placement Art Studio Class at Clear Lake High School in Houston, Texas. This exemplary school boasts an art department of seven art teachers and currently has over 850 art students enrolled. Guided by veteran art teacher Richard Williams, the class emulated a famous painting of Picasso's Three Musicians.
About the Pi-Cow-So's Moosicians figurine
The Advanced Placement Art Studio Class at Clear Lake High School created PiCowso’s “MOOsicians” for Houston parade of cows in 2001. This excellent school boasts an art department of seven art teachers and currently has over 850 art students enrolled. Also, art teacher Richard Williams guided the class emulated a famous painting of Picasso’s “Three Musicians”. As a result, the class took liberties with the palette using colors that were more contemporary as compared to the original. Our cow has the same characters on both sides adjacent with patterns that carry down the legs. PiCOWSoS Moosicians miniature is part of the Museum Edition collectibles. Parade of cows statues always come with a CowParade Certificate of Authenticity and a soft dust bag.

About the parade of cows
There are a few variations of cow shape. Pascal Knapp owns the copyrights to the three most common shapes: standing, lying, and grazing cow shapes used in the parade of cows. Approximately 8 to 12 Cows from each CowParade become part of the miniature collection. Nowadays, there are over 500 figurines in the Museum Edition collection.
