Description
About the Brillo Box square plush
Our square plush features design Andy Warhol imagined for a detergent box. Warhol created the Brillo Box because he "wanted to make something ordinary" pushed the boundaries of what was art for him. He challenged the ideas put forth by the Abstract Expressionist movement of the time. Perhaps one of Warhol's most controversial pieces, this piece is a recreation of his Brillo Box series.
Showcase your interest in Warhol "art on your desk or anywhere in your home with this Pop Art decorative square plush. This plush is a must-have for any Warhol fan or pop art collector alike. It comes with Andy Warhol's biography.
About Andy Warhol and the Brillo Box Design
When Warhol had his art exhibit where he offered to art collectors silkscreen boxes replicating actual consumer product cartons found in grocery stores, he thought that those boxes would sell out quick. Unfortunately, that was not the case and many went unsold. So with Kidrobot limited Edition, history should repeat itself. With this square plush Kidrobot makes an amusing but aesthetical homage to Warhol.
