Every six months CowParade team selects some new cows that appeared in an event somewhere around the world. Those selected become part of the CowParade herd of collectibles. This happy cow "Moo York Celebration" is now one of CowParade 500 molds and got introduced into CowParade Original figurines in February 2009.Firstly, the design team carefully models 3D clay statues using photographs of selected cows to ensure every detail is well-presented. The clay models are then used to create a production mold for each specific cow.

Then, the molds produce clean, white Cowparade cows. A final sand-papering and dusting and the white models are ready for painting. A majority or cows are carefully hand-painted. On occasion, though, the artwork can be too intricate even for our talented painters. In that case, CowParade uses a decal - a specially made sticker unique to that cow.

After the painting step, cows need a few days to dry before placing them into a low-temperature oven. Most of the time a lacquer is applied to protect the model in transit.
