About the Cowparade worldwide events

CowParade is an international public art show featured in the main cities all over the world. It officially started under brand name Cowparade in Chicago in 1999 and more than 92 have already hosted the show.
The concept of the art event is to involve local artists and communities in exhibiting fiberglass sculptures of life-size cows they previously decorated, and then distribute the masterpieces over the city in public places such as train stations, famous avenues, and parks.
They often feature artwork and designs specific to local culture, as well as city life and other relevant themes.
After the exhibition in the city, which may last many months, the scupltures are auctioned off, and the proceeds donated to local charity organizations.
