This 100% silk scarf is part of the Modern Museum of Art's (MoMA) Frank Lloyd Wright collection.

The festive abstract balloon-and-confetti theme of the leaded-glass windows designed by Wright for the Avery Coonley Playhouse (c. 1912), Riverside, Illinois, and a similar one for the Imperial Hotel, Tokyo, has inspired generations of designers. Frank Lloyd Wright is considered to be one of the most iconic American architects of all time. Wright believed in designing structures that reflected humanity and its environment. He called this philosophy organic architecture, which was best exemplified by Fallingwater, one of the most famous works of American architecture. His innovation was exemplified in many structures including offices, churches, schools, skyscrapers, hotels, and museums. He also designed various pieces of furniture as well as stained glass. Wright was also the author of numerous books and articles and was a popular lecturer in the United States and in Europe.

To this day, Wright is recognized as the greatest American architect of all time. His legacy is one of America "foremost cultural treasures.
