The collectible figure is decorated with multicolored drawings and patterns of which are some of the most recognizable Warhol and Basquiat works. The painting illustrated in this Warhol x Basquiat Bearbrick is Dentures/Keep Frozen, a collaboration between Warhol and Basquiat in 1985 representing the bond they shared between their mutual friendship and work using materials and paintings found in Warhol's studio when Warhol passed away in 1987.

Warhol also lived openly as a homosexual man before the gay liberation movement began. He had His Factory, where intellectuals, drag queens, playwrights, Bohemian street people, Hollywood celebrities, and wealthy patrons would collaborate. The Pop Artist produced extraordinarily valuable pieces, including some of the most expensive paintings ever to be sold. While never traditionally thought of as a popular consumer product before, Warhol’s work opened up the ideas of mass-production and mass-appeal into the art world.
